On Monday, February 8th, Roger Newbold will give a presentation.
Rodger is an internationally recognized creative photographic artist based in Salt Lake City, Utah and has been highly involved in photography since 1978. He is appreciative of his personal studies with such notables as Ansel Adams, Paul Caponigro, Ruth Bernhard, Elliot Porter, Brett and Cole Weston, John Sexton, Chris Rainer, Dan Burkholder and many others. Rodger is currently the Director of Photography for the Salt Lake Art Center School Division of Utah Museum of Contemporary Arts, a position he has held since 1984. Mr. Newbold also serves as an adjunct instructor at the University of Utah and held the position of Manager of Photographic Services at the U of U for 15 years.

Monday, January 11th, join Jeff Clay of Clayhaus Photography will give a presentation entitled "Using Photographs (and Sometimes Words) to Create Stories."
Jeff is a travel, landscape, and architectural photographer and he will explore ways of using photographs – sometimes in conjunction with words – to tell stories. Whether it is the use of a single image – “a picture is worth a thousand words” – multiple, related photographs, or words in support of imagery, tales are there to be told.

Monday, December 14, will be our final meeting of the year as well as our last competition of 2015. Images are currently being submitted electronically submitted and we will do the judging ourselves at the meeting.
